District community centre providing a facility that can meet the need for large congregations and to provide a meeting place in the heart of the community. The large hall can seat 200 people can be used for a variety of functions. The full catering kitchen enables the community centre to provide a fully functioning café, as well as the opportunity to cater for large functions in the main hall. Part of the building has been used for a self contained facility to be used by the local community Police team, providing them with a valuable base in the centre of the new housing development, close to the new amenities that have been provided – shops, restaurants, education facilities etc.
